Patna: Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) leader and MP from Madhepura Pappu Yadav, at a press conference at his residence in Mandiri area in Patna on Wednesday demanded the formation of a medical team under the supervision of the High Court and Supreme Court for treatment of ailing Lalu Prasad Yadav, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief.
"This team should conduct medical tests on the RJD President and based on its report, the government must arrange for top-notch medical care for Lalu Prasad Yadav," Yadav, once a protégé of the RJD chief, said adding politics should not play any role in determining one's health care needs.
The JAP leader also warned leaders not to do politics with the Indian constitution or the reservation laws of the nation.
"There is no threat either to the constitution or the reservation law but there are some politicians who are using the two to scare off the voters to make political gains. This is not right," he said adding reservation should be adjusted according to the latest census figures and the government should also consider giving 40% reservation in the private sector.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
