Patna: Over 11,000 young boys and girls in Bihar on Sunday appeared in the preliminary entrance test for admission in Class VI of the Simultala Residential School with 573 of them from Patna alone.
The test comprised of Hindi, Science, Social Science, Math and English questions for a total of 150 marks.
The test began at 1:00 pm and ended at 3:30 pm.
Only those passing the preliminary test will qualify for the main entrance test to be held at a later date yet to be announced, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) chairperson Anand Kishore said.
Simultala Residential School has a total of 120 seats in Class VI that is equally split between boys and girls.
