Patna: Sitting on a day-long dharna in Gardanibagh in Patna on Wednesday, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) national Vice President Raghuvansh Prasad Singh appealed to the people of Bihar to revolt against the NDA-led state and central government for failing to keep the promises he made during his campaign addresses in 2014.

"He told us he would provide two crore new jobs each year to India's youths. He failed to do so. He also failed to check prices of essential commodities. In Bihar, things are even worse. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has destroyed education and the state has never seen such high level of crime in the past. Corruption, high prices, unemployment, and assault on women and children have skyrocketed and law and order are in name only. The youths of Bihar should declare a war against these failed governments and demand more from the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.

The dharna was organized by the youth members of the RJD.

Among those who took part in today's sit-in included Devmuni Singh Yadav, Arun Kumar Yadav, Satish Kumar Chandravanshi, and Akash Yadav.
