Patna: Students under the banner of All India Student Federation (AISF) in Patna on Friday created ruckus outside the office of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to protest against irregularities in the results of the intermediate exams.

Alleging massive impropriety in the evaluation of answer paper and in the tabulation of the mark sheets, students accused the officials of attempting to destroy their future by wrongly disqualifying them for future competitive entrance exams.

Chanting anti-government slogans, the protestors demanded immediate sacking of BSEB chairperson Anand Kishore and resignation of Bihar Education Minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma.

Students are complaining that despite already competing in JEE (Main) and other engineering entrance tests, they will not be allowed to take admission in any college due to poor result in the intermediate.

Others complained that in spite of them appearing in the test, they were marked as 'absent' in the intermediate exam.

Neither the Education Minister nor Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has responded to students' complaints.
