Matric Results Declared; Simultala Residential School Shines

Patna: Marred by a series of scandals in the education department in the past few years, Bihar Education Minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma and Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) chairperson Anand Kishore on Tuesday released the results of Class X (Matric) on various websites including www.biharboardonline.in, www.biharboard.online, and biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.

While the top 4 positions have been grabbed by girl students, 16 students of the Simultala Residential School in Jamui appear in the top 23 students statewide.

Prerna Raj of Simultala School topped the list with 457 out of a total marks of 500.

Altogether 1,769,825 students had appeared in the Class X Matric test in Bihar out of which 1,211,617 students (68.89) students passed the exam. Among the successful students, 667,505 are boys and 544,112 are girls.

Also, among the successful students, 189,326 passed with first division, 663,884 with second division, and 357, 103 with third division.

The Education Minister said that those who wish to take the compartmental exam should fill out the application before June 28 deadline.
