Nearly 28 hours after Sana, the daughter of Nachiketa Prasad, fell in the narrow deep hole in the ground and got stuck at roughly 40 feet, brave SDRF and NDRF workers managed to dig an L-shaped hole in the ground to get access to the girl while making sure falling debris or digging tools did not harm her in any way.
The success came around 7:30 pm on Wednesday when the workers finally pulled Sana out of the deep hole evoking a loud cheer among the parents, relatives, neighbors, and onlookers as everyone took a collective sigh of relief. The girl was rushed to a hospital for immediate check-up where she was listed in stable condition with bruises and cuts on her body.
While the girl could not be fed for the entire duration of her ordeal stuck in a narrow, deep hole, officials had made arrangement to provide oxygen to the girl as the mother continued to talk to her to let her know she was not alone and good Samaritans were doing everything to save her and pull her out of the well as fast as they could.
