As reported, extortionists had been demanding 'Rangdari Tax' from Ashish Gupta, a physical trainer who coaches candidates applying for police jobs. When he refused to comply with their threat, the criminal opened several shots at him. The bullet, however, missed him and instead hit one Amar Yadav who was standing behind him. Two other persons who were identified as Uday Kumar and Sanjeet Prasad were also hurt by flying bullets and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
