Patna: Just hours after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in a joint statement, announced agreement on seat-sharing for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, NDA's ally and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) leader Upendra Kushwaha was seen pow-wowing with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejaswi Yadav on Friday once again sending murmurs of him planning to dump the NDA and join RJD-led Mahagathbandhan in Bihar.

Kushwaha, who has been sending out smoke signals of perhaps leaving the NDA over seat-sharing issue by talking about 'kheer politics' (Yadav's milk and Kushwaha's rice) and other political memes, met with the former Deputy Chief Minister at an RJD office in Arwal.

The two reportedly spent about 20 minutes behind closed doors. However, the two did not divulge the content of their conversation.

The RLSP leader who is twisting arms of the BJP in an attempt to get more seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, currently has three Members of Parliament from his party.

Denying the report of finalization of seats for the next Lok Sabha polls, Kushwaha said everything was still up in the air though everything will be settled in the next coming days.
