Patna: With his fifth-place finish in the Panasonic Open India 2018 championship that was played at the Delhi Golf Club between October 25 and 28, Patna's very own professional golfer Aman Raj climbed up in the national ranking (Professional Golf Tour of India) from 12th to an impressive 4th.
The 23-year old golf phenom shot 70, 68, 68, and 69 for a total of 265, or 13 under-par, to grab the solo spot for the 5th place in a field filled with many talents.
Aman, who turned professional in 2016 after a very impressive career as an amateur, clinched his career's first professional win at Jaipur Open last month at the Rambagh Golf Club where he shot a stellar 258 to beat his nearest rival by three strokes.
Earlier this month, he finished 18th in the UMA CNS Open Golf Championship played in Pakistan and now he was on his way to Chandigarh to take part in Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational tournament named after the legendary Indian golfer.
