Patna: Frustrated with being obviously ignored by the Modi-Shah duo in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the issue of seat-sharing, the official Twitter account of the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) on Sunday hinted that the alliance between the two parties was nearly over and it was only a matter of time before a final announcement would be made.

Citing lines from a Dinkar poem, the tweet said that if the BJP wanted to give RLSP more seat for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections then it should go ahead and do it otherwise keep all the seats to itself and just give him a bit of respect.

Titled 'Last Paigham', or the 'Last Message', the tweet posted in Hindi said "दो न्याय अगर तो, ज्यादा दो। पर, इसमें यदि बाधा हो। तो दे दो केवल हमारा सम्मान, रखो अपनी धरती तमाम।’

As reported previously, Kushwaha had earlier issued an ultimatum to the BJP to finalize seat-sharing by November 30 or he would take it as a signal that there was no room for his party in the NDA.

At a press conference in Patna on Saturday, the Union Minister had said that though he wishes to remain in the NDA, he will leave the alliance if he was not given the respect that he deserves.

Though both Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) have made open offers to Kushwaha to join their party, they also have remained quiet on the number of seats that would be available to the RLSP thus making it very difficult for him to make a clean break from the NDA.
