Patna: Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rabri Devi, talking to reporters outside Bihar Assembly in Patna on Monday, dared the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to build Ram Temple in Ayodhya saying the matter was sub judice in the Supreme Court and the BJP did not have the power to overrule the apex court of the nation.

"I also want the temple to be built but only with the cooperation of all parties. Does the BJP have in it what it takes to build the temple? I challenge them to get the temple built, if they can," the former CM and the wife of party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said.

Saying the Ram Temple issue was languishing in the Supreme Court and no matter what the BJP says, it will not be able to get the temple built in Ayodhya.

"This temple issue crops up just before each election and is nothing but a political stunt to gin up votes based on communal feelings. As soon as the elections are over, BJP moves on to some other hate-filled agenda," she said.

Rabri Devi also took aim at the Nitish government in Bihar saying law and order had collapsed in the state but the Chief Minister was always busy blowing his own trumpet.
