Patna: After thrashing Sikkim by 395 runs just a few days ago, the Bihar Ranji cricket team on Thursday appeared poised to continue its winning streak when it got Arunachal Pradesh team all out for a pathetic total of 84 runs while scoring 250 runs of its own at the loss of only one wicket at the end of the day.

Playing at Patna's Moinul Haque Stadium, Bihar's ace spinner Ashutosh Aman took four Arunachal wickets while Vivek got three batsmen out of his own. Rehan Khan took two wickets while Samir Adri managed to grab a wicket of his own.

At the closing time, Bihar's Indrajeet was sitting pretty in the pavilion with his splendid 127 not out with his partner Babul Kumar who was not out at 72. The only wicket Bihar lost on the first day was that of Kumar Rajnish who began the inning with a convincing 45 runs of his own.

Earlier, after winning the toss, Bihar invited Arunachal Pradesh to bat first and the strategy paid off nicely as the first Arunachal wicket fell in 2.5 overs after Samarth Seth folded for six runs only. He was followed by Akhilesh Sahni when the team score was mere 15.

After that, Arunachal team fell like the house of cards and despite opening batsman Doria's highest score of 33, the team was all out on 84 runs. Three batsmen failed to open their accounts while one was out on one.
