Patna: Members of various parties under the Mahagathbandhan umbrella on Thursday marched to the Raj Bhawan to lodge a complaint against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for uttering derogatory words against Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha and Vikas-sheel Insaan Party (VIP) leader Mukesh Sahni.
Members of all seven parties that are part of the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan in Bihar marched towards the Governor’s house while clashing with the police at many locations.
In a memorandum given to the Governor, the Grand Alliance leaders asked him to issue a stern warning to the Chief Minister about not using ‘unparliamentary’ words against any opposition leader.
They also asked the Governor to force Nitish Kumar to issue an unconditional apology to both Upendra Kushwaha and Mukesh Sahni, the man who takes pride in announcing his ‘Mallah’ caste in making his case for a much prominent role in Bihar politics.
“His recent statements have hurt our leaders and the Chief Minister must apologize for them,” Gagan sai.
Those who took part in today’s march included RJD state president Ram Chandra Purvey, RJD leader Bhai Virendra, Samajwadi Party (SP) state president Devendra Prasad Yadav, VIP chief Mukesh Sahni, Congress leader Shyam Sunder Singh Dhiraj, Lok Jantantrik Dal (LJD) leader Ramai Ram, and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) leader Satyanand Prasad, among others.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
