Hundreds of angry villagers, after failing to get any response from the local police, vandalized the Ramgarh police station. They also set more than two dozen impounded cars at the police station along with torching a police vehicle.

Situation became so violent that even the firefighters could not dare to approach the police station resulting in serious damage to the building.

The melee continued for nearly six hours after which DIG Rakesh Rathi and other senior officials arrived at the police station and used mild force to drive the miscreants away.
