Patna: The women’s wing of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) in Patna on Sunday took out a protest rally against the NDA government in Bihar to highlight collapse of law and order under Nitish government.

Starting their rally from the southern end of the Gandhi Maidan, the women, chanting anti-Nitish and anti-NDA slogans, marched towards the Governor’s house demanding resignation of the Chief Minister for failing to protect the women and children of Bihar.

The rally was met with police resistance on Dak Bungalow crossing where it led to the inevitable clash between the protestors and the law-enforcement officials.

Some women later claimed injury in the clash as senior party leaders wasted no time in announcing another protest rally this coming week to protest police brutality against the ‘peaceful’ protestors.
