“Besides entrusting Laluji to choose candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, we have also authorized him to be the final voice on the issue of alliance with like-minded parties to take on the NDA in the state. Furthermore, Lalu ji would also be picking candidates for assembly by-polls in Bihar,” Jha said on Friday.

Notably, Yadav makes the Ranchi Jail his home where he remains incarcerated after being convicted in a number of criminal cases related to multi-million rupees fodder scam in Bihar that took place at his watch when he was the Chief Minister of Bihar.

RJD leaders also resolved not to celebrate Holi this year in honor of the Indian soldiers killed in terrorist blast in Pulwama in Kashmir last month.
