Former BPCC Chief is the LJP Candidate from Khagaria

Patna: With the names of five of the six candidates already announced, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Ram Vilas Paswan on Tuesday announced the sixth and the last name of the candidate for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

At a press conference in Patna, Paswan, accompanied by his brother Pashupati Kumar Paras, introduced former Congress state president Chowdhary Mehboob Kaiser as the party candidate from Khagaria.

The NDA that includes the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Janata Dal – U, and LJP, had announced the names of 39 candidates last Saturday but the name of the candidate for Khagaria seat that was allocated to the LJP had not been announced.

Other LJP candidates in the fray are Veena Devi from Vaishali, Pashupati Kumar Paras (Hajipur), Ramchandra Paswan (Samastipur), Chirag Paswan from Jamui, and Chandan Kumar from Nawada.
