Patna: With senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shatrughan Sinha all set to quit the party and join Congress on April 6, his soon-to-be ex-party colleague Sushil Kumar Modi, at a press conference in Patna on Sunday took shots at Sinha saying he should stop embarrassing himself at his ripe age and retire from active politics before he makes further fool of himself.

“I recently advised him not to embarrass himself at his age but he is adamant on running from Patna Saheb seat on a Congress ticket. While he is free to do so, I am here to tell you that even American President Donald Trump would lose at this seat that squarely belongs to the BJP. No other party will win from this seat,” Modi said.

The Deputy Chief Minister also mocked the Grand Alliance and the Tej Pratap-Tejaswi feud within the Lalu family.

“The Grand Alliance that cannot even decide names of candidates for seven seats and the Congress that won only at 44 seats in the last Lok Sabha elections are hoping to form the new government at the Center. The country needs a strong government that can stand up to countries like China and Pakistan and not a weak government that Congress is known for,” he said adding how could the people of Bihar trust those who could not even handle their own family affairs?
