Two Bike Thieves Arrested from Patna Junction

Patna: Police on Thursday arrested two bike thieves from Patna Junction and recovered three stolen bikes, master keys, steel cutting and other tools used in breaking locks and stealing motorcycles.

Arrested men who were caught red handed while attempting to steal bikes outside Patna Junction were identified as Shahjad of Sabzi Bagh and Shahrukh of Dariapur.

Following their arrest, police searched their homes and recovered three stolen bikes and tools required to break in and steal motorcycles.

According to the police report, the two had stolen a bike earlier from near Patna Medical and Hospital (PMCH) and arrived together at Patna Junction to steal another bike. However, a patrolling team of the railway police spotted them and became suspicious.

During their questioning, they admitted they were stealing the bike and the bike they were riding was also a stolen vehicle that they had lifted earlier from area under Pirbahore police station.
