Patna: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Patna Saheb Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday visited a number of dalit slums where he interacted with women and men to seek their support in his battle against Congress candidate and former Bollywood star Shatrughan Sinha.

"The 'Mahamilawati' party is furious at the BJP because of the development all around. What the NDA had been able to do in the last five years, Congress could not do in fifty plus years and that is what is bugging them," Prasad said.

The Union Minister did rounds in Digha, Kumharar, Sandalpur and also chatted with morning walkers at Congress Maidan in Kadam Kuan, just yards away from Shatrughan Sinha's ancestral home.

He also talked to small business owners near Mahavir Temple outside Patna Junction where he assured them of being their voice in the Parliament.

"No more 'Khamoshi' for you in the Lok Sabha. I will be your voice and representative in the Parliament and, unlike Mr. Sinha, I will fight for you every day in the House," he said.

Legislators Arun Kumar Sinha, Nitin Navin, Sanjiv Chaurasia, district party president Sitaram Pandey and others were with Prasad.
