Hrithik Roshan Comes to Patna to Pay Respect to his Guru

Patna: With the mega success of Anand Kumar biopic 'Super 30', Hrithik Roshan, the actor portraying the real-life teacher who made his life a mission to coach young students aspiring to get into the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), arrived in Patna on Tuesday to meet with the 'guru' on the occasion of Guru Purnima.

"What better time than the occasion of Guru Purnima to meet my guru? I had to come and touch the feet of my guru who taught me so much during the making of Super 30.," Hrithik, the star of dozens of Hindi films, said.

The two hugged each other while Kumar's students appeared thrilled to be so close to one of their favorite movie stars.

"I feel very lucky to have known Anand sir who helped me prepare for the role. It is an honor to get his blessings by touching his feet," he said.

Kumar, reciprocating his thanks to the actor, said that he had become a huge fan of the actor who plays him in the movie.

"He has brought authenticity to my life journey and I am very thankful to him.

Hrithik Roshan later met with Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and thanked him for making the film tax-free in Bihar.
