Patna: With the issue of Triple Talaq and Article 370 pertaining to Kashmir already been taken care of, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is now zeroing in on settling the Ayodhya Ram Temple issue once and for all as was evident in a speech by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad during a function in his honor organized by the BJP legal cell.

Speaking at the Rabindra Bhawan in Patna on Sunday, Prasad, also an MP from Patna Saheb, said that he was confident that the court would sign with the BJP as the party had enough proof to establish the legal claim on the Ram Temple.

"When I was arguing in favor of the Ram Temple in the court, I realized how fortunate I was to defend our Sanatan tradition as the 'legal police' of the nation. We won in the Allahabad High Court and with all the proofs and evidences in our favor, I am confident that we will win in the Supreme Court as well," Prasad said.

The Patna Saheb MP who defeated incumbent candidate Shatrughan Sinha with a large margin also talked about doing away with 1500 archaic laws that did not make any sense in today's India; withdrawal of Article 370 from Kashmir, Teen Talaq, and dealing with those involved in Fodder Scam in Bihar as part of the list of his accomplishments as the nation's Law Minister.

Besides legislators Arun Kumar Sinha, Nitin Navin, and Sanjiv Chaurasia, more than 350 lawyers from across the state were present on the occasion.
