Patna: Feeding cake or sweets to a poster of a politician has become a trend among the supporters of Indian politicians so Tuesday was particularly special for their supporters as it happened to be the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Members of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), to send their wishes to the Prime Minister, offered milk and sweets to a cutout of Narendra Modi to mark his 69th birthday.

Though botching the spelling of the word 'birthday' (written 'birday') on the cake, the fans of Modi thanked him for withdrawing Article 370 from Kashmir and demanded taking over the area currently known as Pakistani-occupied-Kashmir.

The LJP activists then held a puja complete with the presence of a priest to wish a long and healthy life for the Prime Minister of India.

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar and elsewhere is celebrating the PM's birthday as 'Seva Saptah' from September 14 to September 20. The idea for this weeklong event is to promote social service among the citizens, party leaders in Patna said.
