Patna: Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi in Patna on Saturday released a new book 'Amit Shah and the March of BJP' on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and Home Minister Amit Shah co-written by Dr. Anirban Ganguly and Shivanand Dwivedi.
On the occasion, both Modi and BJP state president Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal lavished Shah with superlatives saying no politician in the world, except for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was as intelligent and political adept as the 'architect' of the modern BJP.
"The Modi-Shah duo is making history like never before and no one will be able to match their organizational skill in future as well. It is due to this that the BJP, with its 11 crore members, has become the world's largest political party," the Deputy Chief Minister said.
Modi further credited Shah for causing the emergence of party offices in each district in Bihar.
"BJP has purchased land in all 27 districts in Bihar to build party offices. Work has already begun in 15 districts and this is all under the leadership of Amit Shah," Modi said.
The Deputy Chief Minister also praised Shah for playing a major role in the annulment of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
"In a short period of nearly five months, the Home Minister has confirmed that he is the true successor of the Ironman Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel," Modi said while accusing the Congress Party of involving both the PM and Shah in a fake encounter case to malign their image and to destroy their political career.
BJP state president Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal and retired Justice R N Prasad also showered Shah with praise saying the Home Minister had no match in any other party and under the joint leadership of Modi and Shah, India was destined to become a powerful nation.
Book authors Ganguly and Dwivedi, during the introduction of the book, said that there was a good reason why Shah had earned many nicknames including the 'Chanakya of Politics', 'Modi's Hanuman', 'Brilliant Political Strategist', 'Excellent Poll Manager', among many others.
"Besides, Mr. Shah is a noted astrologist who also happens to know quite a bit about cricket and is a skilled chess player," Ganguly said adding it was only due to the brilliant strategy by Shah that the BJP went from having power in four states to 17 states in a small period of five years between 2014 and 2019.
Those present on the occasion included state Home Minister Nityanand Rai, Bihar ministers Vinod Narayan Jha and Ram Narayan Mandal, other party legislators and MPs and Janata Dal-U spokesperson Ajay Alok.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
