Patna: Not backing down under pressure from both his boss Nitish Kumar and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaderAmit Shah, Janata Dal-U leader Prashant Kishor on Wednesday dared the Home Minister to implement Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Registration of Citizens (NRC) nationwide if he thought it will have no repercussion in its aftermath.
"If you do not care about all those people who are protesting against the CAA and NRC then by all means, go ahead and implement them," Kishore tweeted.
Being dismissive of citizens’ dissent couldn’t be the sign of strength of any Govt. @amitshah Ji, if you don’t care for those protesting against #CAA_NRC, why don’t you go ahead and try implementing the CAA & NRC in the chronology that you so audaciously announced to the nation!

As reported, Kishor and senior Janata Dal-U leader Pavan Varma, have openly spoken against CAA and NRC while questioning the judgment of Nitish Kumar who has announced his support in favor of the two BJP-sponsored policies.
"In private, Nitish Kumar has spoken harshly against the CAA and NRC but for some strange reasons, he is now supporting it," Verma earlier told the reporters in Patna.
Meanwhile, Shah has reiterated that despite all the protest, CAA and NRC was here to stay and under no circumstances they would be withdrawn.
