Patna: Police in Patna busted a gang of highway robbers who had spread a reign of terror between Patna and Barh targeting travelers and stealing their cash and other valuables, even their vehicles, police in Patna said on Monday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Upendra Sharma, who recently replaced Garima Malik, said that based on credible information, the police formed a special team led SP (Rural) K K Mishra and Fatuha ASP Manish Kumar to nab the gang operating between Patna and Barh.

Arrested criminals were identified as kingpin Dharmendra Kumar; Rahul Kumar, Mantu, and Kundan Kumar of Khusrupur; Pawan Raj, Sonu Kumar, and Chandan Kumar of Dhanarua, Shlok Kumar of Bakhtiarpur, and Rakesh Kumar of Kankarbagh.
