Patna: Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, predicted a huge win for the NDA in the Delhi polls saying people of the nation's capital had made up their mind to get rid of incumbent Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and replace him with a BJP face.
People of Delhi have decided to stop those who have sympathy for the 'tukde-tukde' gang that also wants to stop people coming from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in spite of the fact that these people have proven themselves to the lifeline of Delhi," Modi said in a tweet.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused the Kejriwal government of failing to file charges against a JNU student who he termed as an enemy of the nation.
"This election is going to be the biggest roadblock for those who have a history of insulting Biharis," he said.
Turning his focus towards his favorite punching bag Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Modi brought up the fodder and bitumen scam in Bihar under the Lalu regime.
"Under which ideology the RJD approved of the fodder and bitumen scam? Why did the party throw the non-Congress ideology of Lohia into the dustbin? Nearly half a dozen members of the Lalu family are accused in corruption cases. Is that also a part of some ideology?" he asked.
Modi then praised Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for their rallies in Delhi describing them as marvelous that were felt by even their staunch opponents in Patna.
