Patna: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bihar president Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, at a press conference in Patna on Monday, said that the party would be holding two mega 'digital rallies' in Bihar – one on June 9 to be led by Home Minister Amit Shah and the second one, date yet to be decided, by BJP national president JP Nadda.

Jaiswal was speaking on the first anniversary of the second term of the Modi government.

The party state president claimed people at 60,000 booths in Bihar listened to the Prime Minister at his recent 'Man ki Baat' national address that led to the party's decision to hold a virtual rally in Bihar on June 9.

"Besides the party office-bearers, the general public can also listen to Mr. Shah's speech through videoconferencing or live broadcast on Facebook. The second digital rally will be led by Mr. Nadda though the date for that rally is yet to be determined," he said.

Praising Narendra Modi for always keeping the welfare of Bihar in his mind, Jaiswal said that the Center was giving twice as much money to the state than earlier allocated by the government.

On the issue of shocking Gopalganj murder involving Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Janata Dal-U leaders, the BJP state president said that no matter who was responsible for the killings, justice will be served and guilty parties will be punished as provisioned by the law.
