Dr. P. L. Joshi Selected for Rajiv Gandhi Education Award

New Delhi: NRI Professor Dr. Prem Lal Joshi has been selected for "Rajiv Gandhi Education Excellence Award 2013" by the Indian Solidarity Council New Delhi, a national body, for his outstanding achievements and remarkable role in the field of education.

The award ceremony is to be held in New Delhi on July 24, 2013.

LetterLetterDr. Joshi is currently working as a senior professor at the Faculty of Management, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya KL, Malaysia, a well-recognized Asian university.

Prior to joining MMU, Dr. Joshi had worked as a senior professor of Accounting at the University of Bahrain for 20 years. He has taught in Turkey, Kenya, and India. He had also worked as an Associate Professor in NITIE, Mumbai for a decade. He has conducted several executive training program workshops in Accounting and Finance.

He has also published over 100 research papers in international quality journals. His research has been profusely cited by international scholars. A founder and Editor-in-Chief of two international journals in Accounting, Dr. Joshi has been instrumental in promoting accounting education and research both at the global and regional level.

Dr. Joshi is the recipient of "Sardar Patel International Award", "Hind Rattan Award", "Bharat Gaurav Award", and NRI Institute's Award. He is also listed in Marquis Who's Who in the world five times. His name has been nominated by a dozen professors from around the world for the prestigious "Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award".
