New Delhi: Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav launched a series of attacks on current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar alleging the Janata Dal – U leader destroyed medical and healthcare systems in Bihar in the last 15 years of his rule.
Posting a number of pictures of what used to be primary healthcare centers in Kaimur and Banka districts, Yadav, who is out on bail in connection with the multi-crore rupees fodder scam case that took place in the nineties, said that there was no development in Bihar under Nitish administration all the so-called developments in the state were constrained in various government files that will never see the light of the day.
https://t.co/w2wSjOJljK

“Both Nitish Kumar and Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey deserve Nobel Prize for shutting down hundreds of healthcare facilities in Bihar. Not only they did not improve the medical infrastructure in the state, they ruined whatever medical facilities were in Bihar before they came in power,” the former CM said adding Nitish Kumar should look himself in the mirror to see the damage done to Bihar by him.
Showing the picture of a healthcare center in Banka, Yadav said the condition of this building was so bad that even coronavirus would die its natural death if admitted in this facility.
“Thousands of such healthcare centers were opened in Bihar during my administration but Nitish Kumar shut down each one of them. He, however, maintained them on paper so he could continue to loot Bihar,” the RJD leader said.
“You now stand exposed of your failures. If you want to survive, you will have to go back to singing the song of so-called 30-years of jungle raj in Bihar,” Yadav said.
Since being out on bail, the RJD chief has been living with his daughter Misa Bharti in Delhi.
