Patna: As promised, the Grand Alliance in Bihar led by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), a day after Holi, announced its formula for seat sharing for the Lok Sabha elections that involves a host of small and large parties including the RJD, Congress, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP), Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), and CPI-ML.
Patna: Speculations on who would be the replacement of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shatrughan Sinha from Patna Saheb seat took yet another turn on Monday as a number of party leaders in Bihar, under condition of anonymity, rejected the report of security baron R K Sinha being given party ticket while insisting Rajya Sabha member Ravi Shankar Prasad was the natural heir to the constituency viewed as one of the most sought-after and elite seats in the nation.

Patna: A defensive Upendra Kushwaha, the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief, at a press conference in Patna on Wednesday, denied allegations of corruptions and bribery against him saying he categorically denied all accusations and if he was proven to be guilty, he would retire from political life for good.
