Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, reacting to the now infamous statement of Tej Pratap Yadav that he would skin Prime Minister Narendra Modi for withdrawing his father's Z+ security, in a tweet on Tuesday mocked his 'bade bhai' Lalu Prasad Yadav saying it took a very 'strong man' to threaten the public while being surrounded by hundreds of security guards provided by the state and central governments.
"Despite Z+ security provided by the state government and the State Security Guards (SSG), only a strong man needs more security by the Central government and the National Security Guard (NSG) to bully the public," Kumar tweeted in Hindi.
As reported, Yadav's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav has been bragging about his muscle and political clout by first threatening to disrupt the wedding of the son of Bihar Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and beating him up in full public view in presence of all wedding guests, and then threatening the Prime Minister of India by saying 'hum Narendra Modi ka khaal udherva denge' (I'll skin Narendra Modi) for withdrawing Z+ security of his father.
Talking to reporters at Bihar Assembly on Tuesday, Kumar said that he had been the Chief Minister of Bihar for the last 12 years and yet he was not provided the Z+ security by the NSG.
"I have never been given Z+ security cover in spite of being the Chief Minister for the past 12 years and I have never cared about it. The Center decides who gets what level of security and I have nothing to do with it. Lalu ji's sons are talking about who will get the blame if something untoward happened to their father. What is destined to happen will happen. Former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi was gunned down by her own security guards. No one could do anything about it," the Chief Minister said.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
