Patna: Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, has decided to vacate the government-provided sprawling bungalow to him saying the house is infested with ghosts let loose by none other than Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister.

The former Health Minister known for his strong belief in superstition, black magic, and divine intervention in resolving political problems said that he had left the government bungalow after he experienced spooky, ghostly activities in the building.

Talking to a local news channel, Yadav, who was made the Health Minister of Bihar in the Nitish-led Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar despite having failed his intermediate exam and having no prior experience in politics or governance, told the reporters that he did not need 'charity' from the government and was already an owner of a large bungalow.

"After realizing there are ghosts in the building let loose by Nitish Kumar and Sushil Kumar Modi to traumatize me, I have decided to vacate it as I already own a bungalow. I don't need the charity of the government," the RJD leader said of the government accommodation provided to him on 3 Deshratna Marg in Patna.

Yadav, reacting to the party's debacle in the Patna University Students' Union (PUSU) election in which none of the RJD candidates won even a single seat, vowed to take strong action against his own men who, he said, sabotaged the chances of winning for them.

"Our own men worked against our candidates and those who have betrayed us will be taken to task," Yadav said.
